This first piece is a mock article I wrote in the style of the New Era.

I've included this piece that was published in my high school newspaper. It won an honorable mention from the Utah Journalism Education Association and 2009 Utah High School Writers and Photographers Clinic award. I'm very comfortable interviewing, brainstorming ideas, and writing articles for publication.

This first sample shows mostly proofreading as well as a bit of content editing.

This third sample is a transformation of text. I took an email my brother sent home  on his mission, and turned it into a story that could feasibly be seen in the Instant Messages section of the New Era.
